Sales analysis, keyword breakdowns, DNBolt, etc... Should now be posted in Niche Discussion.

Why was threads such as the following moved to niche domain discussion?:

https://www.namepros.com/threads/namerific-vs-brandbucket-vs-brandroot-vs-others.853772/

https://www.namepros.com/threads/brandbucket-vs-brandroot-which-one-do-you-think-is-better.946436/

https://www.namepros.com/threads/brandbucket-vs-namerific.946440/

Anytime I mention Brandro** in this thread it gets reported / moved / deleted.

Anytime I mention Namerif** in this thread it gets reported / moved / deleted.

I'm just saying, it's hard to give my experience because I base it in a way, off of the experience of all marketplaces. I have gotten used to the fact that if I'm gong to mention Namerif** or Brandro** in comparison to brandbucket, I need to do it in the appropriate thread. Because I monitor marketplace reviews, I was able to use the following link as a way to stay up to date with all marketplaces:

https://www.namepros.com/forums/domain-marketplace-reviews.234/

The new link has several similar threads created. I believe they were created out of need because people couldn't find marketplace comparisons in the marketplace review forum. It's not as organized as the marketplace review section.

They were moved Chris to start building that section, those are discussion threads, I think the first one opens with I want to start the discussion. The other thing Niche Discussion is up at the top of the forum so it should get more views up there as opposed to scrolling down to reviews. In all honesty a lot of BrandBucket threads that got moved to reviews were initially posted in Domain Discussion and moved, I think once we get enough threads to have a fully dedicated section "Brandable Domain Discussion" will get things organized best.

I do see your point and posts getting reported if you mention another brandable website.

Personally, I'm tired of having my posts reported / moved / deleted because I don't know where to post..

I'm a firm supporter in NamePros creating a dedicated "Brandable Domain DIscussion" section as this is a growing industry, and the competition is going to get stronger as more marketplaces begin to organically rank. I will do my part in creating as many brandable discussion threads in the niche section to help ensure the future of a dedicated brandable section.

Wouldn't be easier to create the section first instead of having to aggregate all the threads later? Or at the time of aggregation, do you vet the threads to be added to said new dedicated brandable section?

In the mean time can we merge the two threads with red next to them? Is there a need for 2?

I agree about merging but @Eric Lyon pointed out to me that this software can be tricky, not everyone but some have merged threads that created a mess and right now the mods do not have the ability to merge threads.

Grilled did you post in the suggestion section? I am with you and support your thread/poll if you decide to create one

Many of these were mistakenly moved. They belong under Reviews, and I will be moving them back.

We will create a Brandable Domain Discussion forum if there are enough threads to warrant it. Currently, there are not that many threads centered around Brandables. They are centered around Brandable Companies, which are generally reviews/comparisons and discussion about specific companies. Those belong under Reviews.

If you'd like to discuss brandables in general or all of the marketplaces that exist for them (existing ones and new ones that come about), then please create more general threads for Brandables in the Niche Discussion forum.

Update: I went ahead and created a Brandable Domain Discussion area to encourage more discussion about brandables in general. Be sure to subscribe to the new forum ("Watch Forum") to receive alerts of new discussions.

Please note: The new forum is not for discussing specific marketplaces or companies; use the Reviews area for that.
