It recently happened to me too. A newly reg domain (from GD) was listed at Afternic and Godaddy auctions. I came to know this from BrandBucket team (as that domain was listed at BB for sale).

I instantly emailed GD and the reply was something, "your domain was placed on auction on our partner's site). I requested them to remove the domain from all their partner sites and in a single day it was done. Me very happy now...

How it all happened? Have no idea, as I never listed that domain to either Afternic or Godaddy.

Did you use a premium listing at afternic?

Likely because the previous owner of the domain had it listed. They don't remove them unless you ask them to.

here is what has happened. first of all i had listed all my domains in afternic for almost a month. During this period there were no auctions for my names at godaddy (if you made a search for one of them the message was (not available)) . Two days ago i decided to enable afternics fast transfer for just one of them, by setting a bin price. I got the mail from godaddy and i accepted the "Afternic Premium Network" only for this domains .

A few minutes later the domain appeared at godaddys search as an auction with a bin price also , guess it's normal so far. However all my other domains appeared also as auctions but with no bin prices.

What i did was to set the status (in afternic) as hidden for the domain that i accepted the fast tranfer. Then i tried to see what happens if you try to buy it as a bin at godaddy, here i got an error message that the name was nomore any auction available for this domain. When i had the status bach as "listed" the domain was still not appearing at godaddys search. Meanwhile all the other names remained as auctions in godaddy without a bin for all this period.

Just now i turned the status as "hidden" for all of them and wait to see what happens.
