Whois Privacy

I was wondering if it makes sense to change a domain to whois
privacy after it has been registered without. Isn't there a whois
history that would show that I am the owner anyway?

yes but it would be a bit harder. you could also change the whois to something else and then enable privacy...

freeflow is depends on whether you want a Private Whois.
