Whois name

after all these years i should be certain, but i need to double check.
in your whois, under the name column, i sometimes put my full name, other times i have put domain administrator.
if you have a domain that you get a possible udrp on, if you have domain administrator as the name not yours, can this name be taken from you on the strength that it doesnt have a real name? would i have to chnage to my real name. just wondering as for some big firms surely they would have only 'admin' or something anyway.

just want to make sure as have one name that may go thru a lega l process, pretty sure i would keep as is 2 dictionary words but they have a tm, i just dont want to mess up at stage 1 if we get there by having incorrect whois.

it has to do with representations
if youre the one who (1) registered, (2) maintained (3) renewed you need to put your real name

i am but also run some sales sites and one of them has a private po box i use for security also, so i have some as domain admisinstrator the po box as po box is address and not my home address.

so i take it i would have to change to my real name then/ thanks

is "domain administrator" registered as a private whois company for domain? if so then you may use that, if made up name then better use your real name.

ive thought of this before i thought it was that easy but as you may have noticed in the case of domainsbyproxy.com they can offer that service because they have connection with the registrar actually it's one company and other private whois company using a p.o. box they have some relation or connection with a valid registrar.

In various UDRPs I've read over the years, I've noticed that bit is only but one
of a variety of factors to influence the panelist's decision. That can be taken
into consideration, but it's not like the one single factor deciding the outcome
of the dispute.

Then again, make sure to use a name that can be verified if called upon to do
so, especially for possible invalid WHOIS reports. There's no consensus as to
whether the name is a valid ground for disabling or deleting if it turns out not
fictitious, but I doubt one would want to give the registrar grounds to turn on
the disable or delete button.
