Whois History?

Does anyone know how to get hold of the whois history of the person who owned a domain?

Free resources please as i cannot afford to pay.

I don't know of any free resources. whois.sc has this with their paid memberships.

You might be able to get some previous ownership info from archive.org, but it's not whois data, just what may have been posted on the website of the domain in the past.

You cant. You can get the site info / contents from way back machine http://www.archive.org/web/web.php

hmm... i need the whois. I recived a email about a domain i just required.

Sayign they purcahsed it off sedo last november. I jsut want to check some name's and dates for the old whois... im not intrested really in what was on the prevoius site.
