Dont go for yahoo. it has really weird customer support. you are only yet another coustomer for them. if u get any problem then no one is going to help there. its better to pay and have good support..

Yep, what people above have said. By all accounts, Yahoo is one of the worst registrar services out there - they do offer cheap domains, but their customer service sucks. I've heard many stories on this forum about people informing Yahoo that they are going to let their expiring names drop, only to have Yahoo charge them the renewal fee a week later.

ok.. as I said, I found it on some random site. maybe they're not so good

It's kind of like Yahoo! Auctions...much cheaper, but not worth it. I used it instead of eBay and the amount of fraud on Yahoo! Auctions is incredible.

As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." :P

yea that kind of does suck if they were to take your domain and sell it to someone else haha.

Skip it. You cannot register a Yahoo domain if you are a Yahoo customer, or a customer of any of their partners. What kind of sense does this make??? For that I waited on hold for 10 minutes! :(

Pushing will be a problem. If you want to develop and no idea on resale, then can go with this.

I can't get any of my domains transferred out of yahoo...
and the redirecting of yahoo offered is ad supported... sounds uninsterested for newbies

Too cheap to be true...
Since they are selling at a loss it's not surprising there are a lot of gotchas. I don't think Yahoo is the ideal registrar for any serious domainer.
