Hello everyone,

Im not looking for employees or buyers yet.

But im just wandering, who would be interested in buying quality posts at 15 cents per quality post?

And also, who would be interested in being paid 13 cents per post for posting on peoples forums?

Im trying to start a cheap pay for post site, but am wandering how cheap I could get it to keep the buyer and poster happy.. And me NOT rich lol (posters would recieve around 90% of the money, which afaik is THE BEST so far...

I am just asking for opinions, not hiring anyone yet, but anyone who says that they would do it I can always contact once i start the site for work if you wish me to.

Thanks everyone!

IMHO this would be a fair price. I see a lot of posting deals around where you get 100 posts for $10 so this price is a little more but certainly still workable - especially if you could pay several differnt people for variety.

Thanks for the comments! :D.

Not sure what topics it would be on, but probably various topics.

Thanks! I had no idea that people were doing it that cheap yet... Perhaps i'll have to lower my prices hehe. :P. Could I ask if you know the website address? Thanks!

Please keep the comments coming :)

yeah people on sitepoint do it 100 for $10, but those aren't pay per post websites. Anyways I was thinking on setting a website like this up, but there is to much involved, having to recruit staff, keep staff, and get your website well known.

True there is a lot of work involved. But If I automate it as much as I am going to, it will be a sinch running the site, dishing out who gets what job. Too easy lol

Keep your opinions coming! All our welcomed!

Well I don't know of any particular posting websites that offer these rates, but I do see these as the going rates all of the time at forums including NP, WHT, and a few others. You must remember, this is a fledging industry that works perfectly for 15 year olds looking to make some money, so price competition will be quite fierce. I think you'll be fine if you focus on quality and start off with a promotion or two.

Hey is this offer still valid or done ? cause i think i can post on forums for 13 cent per post i guess. Extra cash doesnt hurt anyone.

Good Luck!

I believe I have quite a bit of experience to offer you since I have the two longest threads in NamePros NP$ Incentives category for a total of 411 posts between them so far.

The two subject areas I covered at NamePros are: Scouts.com with 255 posts and Bloggers and Blogging at 156 posts so far. I believe you'll find my offerings were quite generous compared to the vast majority at NamePros.

The amounts you propose could work depending on the following 4 things:

Subject Matter: The more tech centric the subject matter, the greater the expertise you'll find from a group like NamePros members. If you get into other areas (recipes, camping, antiques, etc.) you're likely to find less of a natural talent pool than for tech subjects like web design, blogging, social networking, IMing, gaming, etc.

Depth of Expertise: This matches the Subject Matter heading above, and the quality heading below to an extent. Using the NamePros member pool as an example, you'll get far more depth in your posts, in general, for tech-related subject matter. Because this group has greater knowledge of tech subject matter in general, there are greater numbers of members with a real depth of expertise and understanding in particular facets of the subject matter.

Quality: Quality of posts will vary widely. Explicit expectations of posters are required. The two longest threads in NP$ Incentives are quite explicit about where in forum posts to enter, the length of posts, etc.

Length: The amounts you propose are okay, provided you're looking for 25 to 50 word posts. If you're looking for 250 to 500 word posts or greater, the amounts are vastly insufficient.

I've often thought of doing something similar and have even secured domain names in that eventuality. To be successful you may need to find the 'lowest common denominator' that will work for buyers and sellers, though in the long run I believe you'll need a number of levels or a bid situation like NamePros has.

You may also need to be explicit about language proficiency. In my threads (on Scouts and Blogging) I believe the occasional entry with understandable but imperfect English lends an international character (and just plain 'character') to the boards.

I wish you success with your proposed venture and hope I may be able to help! Please feel free to contact me anytime.

Regards,
Keith

I would post for that, if there is something like question-answer discussion.

woo thanks for the input everyone and your book of input WebForging ;).

@ WebForging: I was actually thinking along the lines of starting a sort of bidding for posts also, but I think that maybe the end price may go just a little too small if that were too happen.

I think i've got my ideas nicely in now, and am pretty positive i'll start the site :D. Ive got ideas for it in my head, but dont feel like telling everyone lol!

But keep the comments coming for now... and THANKS so far!!!

I wouldn't mind helping out, for free if you want, at the beginning, since I don't have a PayPal (although NP wouldn't hurt)! :D

I also have a suggestion: I think you could do the bidding for posts, but I think you should set up a minimum. Also, sites can pay a little less, but they have to put a banner to your site.

What do you think of that suggestion?
