That's way below their cost, Only desperate registrars are going to offer that. I wouldn't want to trust my domains to a registrar who is going to make such a loss. Of which the only way to recover if higher charges in future years. Which guarantees anybody so desperate to take up such an offer, will definitely transfer out again. I think we should think of the relationship between the registrar and ourselves as a partnership. Not as an adversarial relationship. Just IMHO.

 

NameCheap $7.28 through the 13th or 14th, Dynadot $7.99 through December 31. You aren’t going to get much lower. Those days are over with anticipated price increases in 2021.
