Lets say I successfully backorder, or win at auction, a domain at SnapNames/NameJet/Pheenix/etc. Which registrar does it go to? Can I choose? I have a Namecheap and GoDaddy account, but not (for example) a Tucows account.

No, you can't choose.

Snapnames-->Moniker
Namejet --> Register.com, Speednames, Networksolutions, etc.
Pheenix--> Pheenix.

Except in Pheenix (you must hace an account to backorder), Snapnames and Namejet will open an account for you and let the won domain on it.

After 60 days, you can transfer to the registar you wish.

Can you "pre-link" a registrar account to your dropcatch account? Since there seem to be several available, is there any particular NameJet-related registrar you'd recommend?

Where names end up really depends on which registrar gets your domain. There are hundreds involved, it could be one of their "partners" or one that they own.

For example, most of my last several catches at Namejet, ended up being placed in my enomcentral account.

No, you can not pre-link a registar.

Yep. But most, not all, SnapNames captures are at Moniker. At least for my last 20 captures.
