Backordered domain failure using exclusive services

I placed backorder with the following backorder companies: Namejet, Snapnames, Pool, and just for shits-and-giggles GoDaddy. Name was taken by something else -- something unknown and was placed in domainnamesales.com/buydomains.com/afternic.com for sale by owner. What the hell's going on? How could this have happened? I just received notification from GoDaddy backorder of changes to the backordered domains nameservers and it pointed right to domainnamesales.com/buydomains.com/afternic.com and when I went to the site there was something above stating offers were being accepted for domain. Is it possible that...

1. Domain registrar (Tucows) has exclusive relationship with domainnamesales.com/buydomains.com/afternic.com and gave it to to them?

2. Is it possible Tucows backordered the domain for themselves to re-sale?

3. Did Frank Shilling get first dibs on the domain?

4. Did a backorder service (Snapname, Namejet, or Pool) review the domain and came to the conclusion it's really valuable?

5. It seems as though it's owned by domainnamesales.com/buydomains.com/afternic.com; they are affiliates.

:'( What happened here? :'(

I found myself in the same conditions not long ago. There was this good, and I mean GOOD, LLLL.com on Namejet...I bet on it..and after a while puff..disappeared. Some days later I saw it for sale on BrandBucket for 30.000$...mmmmmmhhhhh.....
I don't know but I think sometimes they " do " something behind our back....:td::td::td:

Drop catchers like backorderzone often beat the competition. There are others as well...

This is outrageous. During the backorder phase I checked all my accounts on all three backorder services (Namejet, Snapnames, and Pool) and on Snapnames, under the "status" tab, it said "Acquiring Domain". There was even a notification in the Moniker whois saying the domain would soon be available on Snapnames soon and to backorder to be part of the auction. Suddenly the next day it switched back to "backorder" status and the Moniker whois doesn't show it being available on Snapnames anymore.

I am baffled of the situation. I was excited to bid on, and attempt to acquire the domain. All of a sudden BuyDomains.com either acquired it or someone else acquired it and listed it and currently "Accepting Offers". The nameservers have changes but nothing else. What's more bazaar is it's still in its still in its expiration phase and will hit the redemption phase in about 3-4 days. Domain expired SEP-26-2013.

:'( OMG I am dying over here. I need this domain :'( D-:
