question Which lander to choose Porkbun VS NP VS Afternic

This is my first post on NamePros, and as a beginner, I'm excited to be here and learn from the community.


I have a question regarding landing pages and marketplace strategies.


Currently, 95% of my domains are registered with Porkbun, and I have listed them across multiple marketplaces, including Porkbun, Sedo, Afternic, Saw, and Atom.


Initially, I opted to use Afternic's lander to take advantage of their commission reduction from 25% to 15%. However, I found it frustrating that I cannot receive inquiries directly and have no visibility into the negotiation process. Additionally, I’ve read feedback from other users regarding slow updates, which has led me to explore alternative landing pages.


I came across NP Lander, which is sleek and well-organized, but I have some concerns. It requires manual domain additions, it is not a marketplace itself (meaning I would need to use a third-party escrow service), and as a beginner with no sales experience yet, I am still trying to understand the full sales process.


Yesterday, I discovered that Porkbun offers its own lander, and I was surprised I hadn’t noticed it earlier. I tested it out and found it very efficient—it seamlessly integrates with their marketplace, requires minimal setup, allows sales within 60 days (correct me if I’m wrong), and enables me to add text to my listings. Most importantly, I receive buyer inquiries directly via email. With only a 7% commission, this seems like an excellent option.

Given these points, I’m considering the following strategies:​

1. Use Porkbun as my sole lander while increasing my Afternic prices by 20%.
2. Use Afternic as my primary lander since they have the highest sales volume.
3. Diversify my landing pages by using 2–3 different options.
4. Use NP Lander exclusively while increasing Afternic prices to compensate for their higher commission.

Additionally, I’d love to hear your thoughts on pricing strategies. Is it a good idea to set higher prices on marketplaces with higher commissions? Would this negatively impact sales conversions?

We were the first to have that feature, but we put them under "Detected" because otherwise anyone can add domains to your account without your permission.

DAN did this, as well.

But I had to disable it, because some buyers did not change NS after acquisition (which included my unique DAN verification NS), and some of my sold domains got automatically re-added to my portfolio again.

As you said, NamePros Parking at least has an additional protection for that.

Just to clarify, I was talking about NamePros adding this feature (with guardrails) before GiantPanda.

The first to ever do it at scale was probably Cloudflare in 2013.

I would suggest to use Namepros landing page, its free for parking domain.
