And could you show the reasons?

Thanks
Best regards,

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
You should ask endusers...
Domainers usually don't run any websites... except portfolio presentation etc.

I love .xyz and didn't even looked most of them in your list, .xyz sound generic and the first top level domain after the .com I had used.

If I had to choose one of those 7 I'd go with .xyz

I'm very optimistic about new generic top-level domains, especial .top
But some people don't think so, so if you have any questions about domain names , I'll answer it here.

#1 .top

Because .top = top.

If I had to choose, it would be .shop

The amount of spam emails etc I get from domains ending with .xyz is just silly.

The rest have limited use in my opinion.

Everyone is same. It depends upon weather a keyword matches with extension and makes a meaning.

e.g : bottom.top , uvw.xyz, iam.vip, casino.club, support.tech, My.shop

Yes , and lap.top.

An extension is successful when it is used by end-users.
In the above list, .club leads in end-user usage.

To be honest, I don't know these domain names, but if I need a website, I will choose. top,cos it means breakthrough, which is consistent with the positive spirit of my company, this is enough.

So,my friend ,you do not have any questions for me now?

Consult a traffic ranking website and Please post in rank order a specific list of the 100 .top extension end user developed and useful websites written in english.
A. None in the list should be 301 redirects to a .com, but stand alone by themself and rank.
B. None in the list should targeted to chinese speaking audiences, but rather target english speaking consumers or business owners outside of china.
C. Names should be english names or mean something in english, example:
but not —-> yyttuxprs.top ( I made that up randomly and have no idea what it is translated to in chinese)

Thank you in advance for your study. I would like to hear your company sales pitch as to understand your Ntld customers who choose it.

Have a good weekend.

Could i know why,dear friend?

Because .xyz is at least generic, although I would still never use it or invest in it. There are simply far too many new extensions and most won't last for more than a few years.

With all due personal respect to the starter of this thread, I would not consider .top for any purpose, as it is

1) overspammed, many email system admins block any and all emails from .top domains together.

2) promotes itself and was designed to be generic extension, sort of .com alternative, together with .xyz, which designation most real endusers do not yet find useful for their real production purposes, and, likely, this situation will never be changed due to consantly decreasing trust in overspammed extensions (and due to .xyz-specific issues lowering their reputation even more), if not due to the lack of practical need of new global (not "niched") extensions.

As pure stats shows, real endusers in "new gtlds" aspect tend use more-or-less "niched" extensions such a .club or .guru, and the number of such real endusers is still very small.

I personally think that from your list .shop may have some perspectives, but, since greedy icann approved both .shop and .store and (if the memory serves me correctly) also some similar non-English shopping extensions, the future may show that all these shopping-related extensions will die together, due to enduser confusion.

For the sake of clarity, I as a domainer registed just about 10 or so domains in new tlds, and they all are keyword1.keyword2 where I beleive that "keyword1+keyword2" may possibly become more valuable term in forseable future, more valuable than it is now. It is a sort of casino bet for me, for $$$ I may afford to have lost (just 10 handregs), and another part of the bet is that .keyword2 registry will survive and become more-or-less recognizeable in end-user eyes, which only time will tell. So I do intend to sell or develop my 10 ngtld regs at all at this time.

...

I never got a spam email from a .top domain. Never.
But 99 % of the spam emails I get, are coming from .com domains.
That's the overspam realityyy
