What type of website will you be hosting and where is your traffic (your target audience) likely to be coming from?

It really depends on what your requirements are. I know people dont generally like hostgator, but I no problem with their Cloud hosting option.

I've used this free web hosting service freehosting.x10host.com/ for close to 2 months now since end of May 2017, and everything is running very smoothly, server uptime is good, and loading speed is also very impressive for a free web hosting. They have the Cloubflare CDN enabled, so that helps to speed up the server serving pages with remarkable speed. I test with 5.9MB in one page and it fully loads less than 5 seconds.

Definitely its affordable because its free, but they limit to 2 Addon domains and 2 Sub-domains in the free pakage, but hey, you can signup with more than 1 account to host more Domains and Sub-Domains.

Give it a try freehosting.x10host.com/ and comback to share your experience with us.

You can directly check for good providers on a Hosting Directory. Choose a hosting plan and location as per your need and read reviews, compare plans before selecting a provider. This way you will always get the best provider.

The only thing, if it matters to you, is to check out the "ready to load scripts" - meaning WP, Joomla, etc... Now I love HostGator and have an account there but for real use I like to make sure that Solicitous is included (not with HG), as I like to try out the different platforms for no additional cost. Hope that makes sense.

You have two options: Shared hosting or VPS hosting.
It's way more complicated to host your website on a VPS as you have to install the web server yourself on a Linux OS. But it is doable even for a newbie with a guide
Shared hosting is easy to manage you just get a Cpanel.

The choice of the best type of hosting service and hosting company really depends on your needs, requirements, budget and on the amount of traffic that you get. You need to tell us what type of website you have - is it WordPress-based, is it just a personal blog or an online store with higher traffic, for example. Provide us with more information, so people here may give you more accurate advice and suggestions.

It depends upon your requirements, what type of website are you hosting? For blogs, Shared Hosting is good, while for eCommerce VPS and Dedicated Server are best. So first identify your needs then search for a suitable hosting provider.
