Which is better? Picking my top 10 most valuable domains and building flow blown super high quality websites or building 100 decent average websites but under a great free Wordpress web template?

Analyzing your current domain portfolio like you mentioned makes perfect sense. At the same time if you don't find any domains you want to build out don't be forced to settle only on the ones you have. You also have the option of searching for more valuable domains and start building sites 1 by 1. If you need capital to buy more valuable ones sell the ones you currently have and reinvest.

The long term goal can be 10 but start with just 1 and focus on making this one a money maker before moving on to the next one. Once you figure out a process that works for you then you can simply rinse and repeat.
