websitebutton[.]com or websitebuttons[.]com ?

A search on Google for "website button" currently gives 157,000,000 results while a search for "website buttons" currently gives 37,000,000 results.

Which is more valuable in terms of maximizing traffic, value, SEO, etc

To me: websitebuttons[.]com sounds better and more logical as the site will have multiple buttons. However, websitebutton[.]com it has more results in Google and also it is less letters in the domain.

Some popular 2 word domain names don't use plurals in the domain e.g. photobucket[.]com and not photobuckets[.]com or facebook[.]com and not facebooks[.]com (The plurals here also sound good and are more logical)

But some popular 2 word domains do use plurals like adwords[.]com and not adword[.]com or namepros[.]com and not namepro[.]com

What are your thoughts on websitebutton[.]com or websitebuttons[.]com given the above?

if you plan on selling multiple products, then buttons, if you plan on some unique new product, then maybe button.

I would say just to cover yourself and to get both domain names anyway. If you do the redirect you don't need to worry about any confusion there.

Welcome to Namepros.
FYI you need to own/control any domains you're asking an appraisal for; this thread might be better in the 'discussion' area. Are you looking to seriously buy one or both of those? I doubt the owners would let them go for less than mid x,xxx at very least, those are highly searched and attractive terms. I've searched them myself while looking for different buttons to use on my website nav bars and other buttons around the sites. If anyone doesn't know, you're looking at website buttons right now; the 'post reply' button below, the 'edit' button, the 'quote' button, the 'rep points' and 'report bad post' buttons, etc. These are all website buttons and website builders scour the net looking for neat ones, myself included.
