About last month or so, I heard many stories of free emails being hacked and their domains got stolen.

Since then, I used own domains, and own hosting for my emails.

There are a few good service providers specializing in email. I use FastMail.fm and TuffMail.com - both cost less than $40 per year for "deluxe" service - not cheap, but affordable enough and IMO may be more secure than the free services, and probably more reliable than most web-hosting services which provide email as an afterthought. Definitely worth looking into if your email is important to you. :)

I like gmail. They trap pretty much every piece of spam.
