Hi,

what's better for a domain format:

example: Blue Dogs
(assume bluedogs.com is taken)
You're promoting a short-term PPC thing; not building a brand for the long haul. So name quality is not that big of a deal.

Which format should one pick:

BlueDogs1.com (if 1 is taken, then 2+)

or

Blue--Dogs.com (assume the single dash is already taken)

?

let me know your quick thoughts, thanks

Personally, I would rather take BlueDogs.net or possibly .org (depending on keyword).

Yeah, I think you are better off with another respectable extension like NET or ORG over a double hyphen or number.

i might even go with a slightly less reputable extension than a double hyphen or adding a random number.

Totally Agree!!! the recall value will be more in case you register with extensions like .NET/.ORG rather than have double -triple hyphen Domain Name!!!

I have to agree with all above me, double hyphen seem bad and reduce the value of the domain

Never ever think of going in for a double hyphen unless you've got a lot of moolah in your pocket that you wish to dispose off... :)
