Which company to choose for VPS hosting

I have decided to move my PHP/MySQL website to a Managed VPS as the traffic is beginning to pick up. But I am confused as to which hosting company to choose.

My budget between $50-100 per month. Can you please recommend which US based hosting company offers best deal.

1. Plenty of RAM,
2. Plenty of CPU speed
3. And plenty of Bandwidth
4. Plenty of HD space

What about HostGator? Aren't they any good for VPS?

I have seen a lot of them over here. But in any case I do not think they are the only VPS provider here and over there which is believed the best one

They are one of the biggest actually and they do have some mixed reviews. I think that is the main reason in here.

Definitely try WiredTree. I was with them for around 2 years. I quit as running the service I was running, was coming too much for me to run and I had little time to effectively manage it. However the service they gave me was excellent and this is going from VPS to then a dedicated server. Both top notch and they use top of the line hardware. Their services are managed as well, so if you screw up or if something bad happens, submit a ticket and you know everything is in good hands.

If you're going to be running an enterprise level application and have a budget of $50-$100/mo, then why in the world are you looking for a VPS instead of a dedicated?

I suppose a lot of companies can offer that. If you really need good VPS you'f better open new thread in the web hosting requests section. That is recommended.
