Most of us when we are starting out create domains that are not highly valuable. Does anyone know where the best place is to sell garbage or low value domains?

While you're at it, try to bundle them together and sell it like a package deal to make it look more attractive (e.g. Get 50 premium domains for just $7.00. Everything must go SALE!!!!)..... something to that effect.

The no. 1 question in domaining? :)

I would try eBay at $0.99. Having said that, it is not easy to get rid of garbage anywhere, trust me, I've tried...

When I list domains for sale on here, the good ones get taken immediately and the lesser ones never. Domainers are quite choosy, as they should be. EBay appears to have a less choosy audience, but complete trash just won't sell at any price unless you are very very lucky.

Put it down to a domainer's education.

If you cannot sell them in the Bargain Bin here on NP, I'd just let them drop. You could also try the Auctions here on NP starting at $0 or $1.

You are lucky. Stub even placed a $35 bid on your dirty laundry. :D

And his account is now closed for hanging out that laundry

Well I wanted 2 of the domains he was selling. All the others were going to be re-offered for free. But I was outbid, and I wasn't going any higher.

I think his account probably deserved to be closed for 1) Posting adult domains in non-adult forums, and then when the thread was moved to adult, he took out the adult domains and posted the thread again in the non-adult forums with a link to his adult thread. (which is why I imagine his account was closed).

Ouch, do you think that is all it took to freeze his account? I've made that mistake myself not knowing there was an adult forum. Thankfully I only received a polite email from Michelle telling me my thread had been moved.:)

Speaking of, recently I got a sales thread closed because I had specified payment by PayPal gift/masspay, but I still see people doing that. Anyone knows why that is not allowed? (It looks so much better with $10 + PayPal fees rather than $11.)

:xf.love:Accounts would not be reviewed for just posting in the wrong section. Mods are here to help and guide that is why you got a pm from me when you made this common error just to let you know and to help you understand why we move threads :)

Kind regards
Michelle

It is because it is against paypal TOS to ask for fees.

It's not that per se. It's in conjunction with 2). And now we hear there might be some problem with chickendinner2012 posts in his threads. You'd think these bozos would hide their ip addresses.
