I see DomainMonster.com is offering Pre Registration of .tel domains. Is someone else offering too? Because the Landrush pre-registration price is $450 for 3 years and minimum contract is 3 years for Landrush.

Is Godaddy going to offer .tel registration in near future or someone else offering other then DomainMonster.com ?

even if i was able to get mortgage.tel, i wouldnt be able to park it our have my own website. its essentially an about page. I signed up for a VIP account to test it and it is essentially a contact page. how is this worth it?

.tel may open up a difference monetizing scheme. If you get mortgage.tel, you can create many top level...example..you create asia.mortgage.tel, where in the page, you have Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, HongKong, Taiwan, China as sub regions...you get those keen mortgage companies keen to list their numbers/company in the respectively countries to pay.

It works like yellow pages. I may want to get hotel.tel and then list all the hotels.....oooh...hotel.tel taken by telnic for illustartion purposes...should then consider escorts.tel then...hehee
