I'm developing a .tv name. If you're curious the name goes cvcc.tv. The site will have chat, forum, blog, vlog, and other info pages.

My quandry comes with the forum. I have cvccforum.com registered.

My choices are:

cvcc.tv/forum - if I do this I'll just forward the forum name

cvccforum.com

forum.cvcc.tv

Which direction would you go and why?

Personally, as a visitor and not a developer, I prefer cvcc.tv/forum. If the forum is part of a larger site, then it should appear that way. And this domain format seems to be more traditional.

Just my opinion.

Used to be subdomain, but Matt Cutts has said Google prefers in a directory now that their algorithm is more mature. If it can stand alone, another domain might work, but more than likely a directory is the best place for it.
