I want to try to sell a couple of my domains but I can't decide where to sell them, ebay, sedo, a forum like this one or other? Also, is it better to sell a $x to $xx domain one place and a more valauble $xxx - $xxxx somewhere else? I will be selling domains worth probably low-high $xx

Well one thing I know when it comes to domaining is to not limit your opportunities. If you are trying to sell a domain, do not feel like you have to restrict yourself to only listing that domain in one place. There is a saying that says to not put all of your eggs in one basket. The best way would be to try listing your domains on all of the places you have mentioned. That way people in the forum can compete with offers made on sedo, etc. It gives you a better chance of selling your domains for the price your looking for.

quick sale is ebay, but not good price. Forum is slow and even worst price.

Where ever you decide to sell them if you want your asking price then expect it to be slow.

Try them all, I have found that it depends on the name. ebay is my least favorite, nothing has ever sold there for me. Set-up a min and watch your results.

List em on Afternic, TDNAM, Moniker, Sedo, and any other similar marketplace. Another idea would be to just put up a sales page instead of parking the domain. Then visitors can directly send you an offer. Some parking companies even have a template with a "Make an Offer" link that might help.

Already have it parked with a link to my sedo listing and will list it on tdnam soon.

And I'll check out Moniker and Afternic

End users first. Forums second.

I think if you are talking about $x-xx domains they go best in the forums. Sedo/Afternic have minimum commissions which make it impossible to sell those domains at those prices. TDNAM only have $5 minimum commission, so it's worth a shot there. But it's a crowded marketplace. To compensate that, it has lots of eyeballs looking for bargains.

The $xxx-xxxx domains I'd put on Sedo/Afternic for sure. But it's often along wait for a sale.

Ha, yeah, oops, noticed that..

And I thought Sedo only charged 10% if you have the domain parked with them..

They do. Forgot to mention that. Their parking sucks. But I guess you won't be there long :)

If you're looking to sell a domain name, the "best" place really depends on the type of domain you have, its value, and your timeline. Search online & compare the domain selling prices and go for the best. Good Luck!

You can at Least sell them on Godaddy/Afternic or Sedo and Ebay at the same time. I wouldn't list Ebay as a primary but a secondary supplement. I think selling domains on this site, while you have nothing to lose, depends on your reputation on other members here. i think enough people dislike me (partially deserved) that even if I had something reasonable for sale they wouldn't bother but if you were well liked, they'd probably reach out. Again I think you can list on Namepros and Ebay at the same time with nothing to lose other than time and Godaddy/Afternic and Sedo but to me the later 2 places are like spitting in the wind.
