Where to check Whois history

I want to check a domain's whois history.
In whois.sc, there is only one year's history about that domain, and need $15 for a month. But I only want to check ONE domain, so I thought it is waste.

Is there any place have a longer history? or charge fee by times instead of by time?

Or have anyone joined that service? could you check this domain for me, and I can pay you $2 via paypal?

Whois.SC is the best service around for whois history. Catalog.com used to have a per record service, but has discontinued it.

There are many reasons, but most notably you can check the ownership history of a name to make sure its not recently stolen.
