Where is the traffic coming from?

Well I just registered a domain name two days ago and the first day of the site being hosted (yesterday) there was no sign of activity. It's setup as a forum btw. Today I'm getting a ton of different hits from people, primarily in the area the domain name is related to. I looked in my stats and there are no other referring sites and my domain doesn't even show up in any of the search engines.

I seriously doubt it's type in traffic because there was no activity the first day of the site being hosted. And no traffic that I know if today until about a couple hours ago. Where could it all be coming from?

Edit: There are a bunch of people who just visit the index and it's using 1 mb of bandwidth every 5 minutes.

Well actually I'm just sitting here watching the guest list under "Who is online" in the phpbb administrative panel go crazy. But I did actually go through the cpanel web stat apps and it shows no other site referrals from all of these ips.

It sort of slowed down now.

Now it completely died. No activity what so ever.

well dude all i can say is put a adsense ad on that site with that traffic........
