Hey guys , I've been wondering .

1) if I'm not getting money from a parking service, would it be better to put the domain in a "FOR SALE " page ,
and if so then where

2) do i get statistics in this page as well ?

Thanks..

I have added all of my domains to bodis, they have an option to point your domains directly to an inquiry form instead of parking. It is free to use and here is how you set it up:

Manage domains

Select all names you want to display inquiry form

Change sale status

Inquiry form

Check (Auto-redirect to inquiry form)

Done

*Alternatively you can add all of your domains to the flippa domain catalogue and forward them all there or change name servers and it will point to a landing page. This method is not free, upfront it is but for each sale you will pay 10% commission on sale.

I second this bodis.com is awesome when it comes to simply pointing your names to the sales page so you can receive offers. They have a great analytics system that gives you the amount of traffic you are getting and the source of it. There are other parking companies out thee you can check out but as mentioned before this is a great free option to take advantage of.

Hey folks,

Total noob here, just getting started. Just starting to dig into the links in this thread, and looking at Bodis and others.

Some meta questions here:

If I am sitting on some domains I feel I can market direct to end-user/company, do I still need to park the site, or host and push SEO? (my work colleague is great at SEO)

Flippa classified is free? I assume they still take a cut?

I'm guessing I will end up parking all my domains and trying to reach out to some companies I think would be interested as I just picked up some decent niche domains in some high $ industries that have major online presence.

Thanks for you thoughts, and it's great to be starting out having found this site.
