Google hates domain parking, Google now hates mini sites, I think Google hates domainers in general LOL.

Here is the problem i see, Google is a financial empire, They call ALL the shots on what happens with our domain names. Just the same as Walmart has become such an empire, They control most markets now.

This is a bad thing IMO, I feel strongly we need more large search engine companies, This will stimulate the internet economy as a whole. Bing is trying, I don't think they will succeed, It's all about the money, Money is power, And Google can knock out most any one at this point, All they have to do is release some cash on them, And they are gone.

Don't get me wrong, Google has good stuff, Apps and ect. But we despartly need serious competition for them. Other wise, No one will be able to get good search engine indexing, With out spending ALOT of money to do so.

You look at the Googles and Walmarts of the world, And that is what holds people back from prospering. Monopolies are a very bad thing, They hold every one at bay, screw the economy, and can become evil empires.

What are your views on the future of domaining, What do we need, and not need???????????

You need just ONE real site with real content to have your adsense approved, than use it for the next 500 minisites :yell::lol::blink:

Which can result in your AdSense account being terminated if the 500 minisites are total crap. Then come the "I was banned from AdSense and don't know why!" posts.

Like anything... be it a company, person, substance, deity, political party or whatever... Google only has the power people give it.

Why blame Goog for cooking-up a 'secret sauce' sales pitch for turning the web's mighty numbers into 'traffic' especially & contextually for You!?

Like anything... if you bought it, You own it. Including the blame that gave them the power over your (domain) game.

IMO, 'driving traffic' is like herding cats. The big dogs rule that sport. I try to focus on sales... as even a low traffic site provides hundreds of opportunities to close a few each month.

Also, a mini-site, with a bowl a milk, can get a few cats.

Good post and point, The PEOPLE made google what they are, But the People refuse to stop using google in a boycott. Why??

If a person develops a website that is a good informational site, It deserves good indexing IMO, It appears these days, It is all politics and money with them.

Let me touch on another base. Arbitrage. Another double standard by google. They have adwords, They adwords always brings tier one traffic, It is the golden and ONLY form of tier one traffic. They charge high rates for keywords and make gawd knows how much per year with adwords. But you better watch, and i mean watch, what search engine traffic you send to your adsense account, Be cause IF THEY say it is questionable traffic, your adsense account is history.

Now, on the other hand, they want you to use their adwords traffic to send to your website, That is paid for traffic, which they oppose heavily, THEY PROVIDE PAID FOR TRAFFIC, So as long as you use their adwords to send paid traffic, It's okay. Basically, You can arbitrage, as long as you use their adwords to do so. Use any one else, and your traffic is low quality and unacceptable, that getting your adsense closed.

There are"minisites" and "minisites"...(noomle rocks!!) but i totally agree, no mfa crap needs to be called minisite, but so many domainers are just "too" busy(l a z y ) for true development...

Hve you tried this lately? In theory, it's "allowed", but they've terminated a LOT of accounts the last couple years for sending AW to AS. Watch your quality score.

Most defiantly i have, I have been using arbitrage for the last four years to earn revenue from my names, I always make a dry run and check the traffic before using it on my names.

I defiantly don't use adwords, Their traffic is WAY to expensive, And i have found my sources traffic to be just as good at a tier one level.

There lies them problem, And you said it very well, "In Theory, It's Allowed" It seems as they cherry pick what they consider good traffic, The problem, They will shut some ones account down and not pay them a dime, This is what happened to a long time friend of mine, And i thoroughly examined his traffic, It was tier one. He did their appeal they offer, They never even acknowledged him.
