Where and how to sell this domain to get most out of it?

Recently got this name-

BestMedico.com

As Medico means Doctor so i decided to register that name.

This word "Medico" is used by several medical related business house like Medical Insurance Company.

Now i got this name in just 2usd at Godaddy and i am looking to sell it through their auction channel.

Should i list it via godaddy premium listing by investing 20usd or a free one (just taken auction membership) will do the work.

buy now or offer me or offer me with buy now option which is good?.

Your domain looks only a couple weeks old. Don't spend $20 chasing a $2 domain. Anyone searching for Medico on GD will see it.

Just think of it as a $2 'option' to exercise on the chance someone will want this before the strike date of Nov 14

Next summer if you still own it you might want to try to hustle it if you cant take a $2 loss.

Probably only renew it if the natural traffic impresses you.

Spamclinic, people in U.S. never heard of medico & can't advise properly.
This is not a quick flip + high profit name.
VERY few names are quick and profitable.

Market this *directly* to all the global companies and orgs that have medico in the name.
Or hold it for years, and when you get an offer, decide if the amount would make you happy.
End users have approached me for lesser names than this. Patience is needed.

first i will make a simple website giving info about mecinal chemical and then advertise it over several blogs and forum and make it a old one.
Actualy the problem is not for holding it as long term bet.
i am not a specialist about these medical related domains.
that is why i am asking for the tactics.

Then why did you pick this domain ? What kind of research have you done, that makes you think there may be buyers for this particular domain ? It would be a better idea to pick domains that relate to industries you are familiar with. I'm not a special about medical matter but I know best medico is not a domain that makes a lot of sense in the real world. I think you have spent enough money on this domain. Don't put the cart before the horse. Good luck.

Personally, you should never have bought a domain that you are not comfortable holding for perhaps 10 years and have no idea how to market it. For me, you will end up dropping this domain without any sale.

I don't think its necessary.

What I said is either:
Contact all the "medico" companies with your offering, or
hold it for years until some of them contact you, instead.
This is the reality of domaining.

I also think you should close this thread.
People who are advising don't even know that medico is a word.
They never heard of it here, so they give you wrong advise.

Of course medico is a word, albeit not an English word afaik. What have here is a random combination of keywords.
What's the target market for "best medico" according to you ? Can you give us an example of what kind of website one could put on this domain ? Is this supposed to be a brandable ?
The people who are giving advice in this thread know how to actually sell domains. The advice you are giving is:
1. spam end users
2. if that doesn't work, keep the domain for years and carry on with losses

Let's be honest, some domains should be kept in the vault for years if necessary because they are worth keeping. But not every domain should be kept, and not this one. The OP just lost $2 and hopefully he can write it off as education. IMO.

If you searched the term "medico" on Google, there are actually quite a number of legits using the term "medico" in their official domains. So that means "medico" is legit.

I am just not sure whether adding the word "best" in front of it makes it a domain worth more than just reg fee. If i am an end-user, and you will ask me boatloads of money for "bestmedico", i will probably just look for another word to put infront of "medico" and get my own medico domain for reg fee.

The term is not English, but it certainly can (and is) brandable in English. The problem is the "best" prefix. Some will have to name a company "Best Medico" - and that's an odd construct in English. "Best" is a word that usually precedes a product name, not a brand. Medico and a suffix such as "solutions," "services" or something similar would be a far better name. MedicoSolutions is priced at $1495 at Sedo, and more of a keeper.

There are a couple of very small (possibly not even still in existence) companies using Best Medico. Outside of them, I would not contact anyone else. You'd likely just annoy people who already get too much "buy my cool domain" spam. If it were mine, I would just list it where I could with an attractive buy now (499USD or so) and hope I get lucky. And I would let it expire if no inquiries come in.

Not a great name by any means, but far better than many of the newbie regs I see in this thread. "Medico" is just the kind of word that can get overlooked by domainers. But this particular name doesn't work for me.

provide hospital cum doctor directory.

provide Drug info and Online medical help.

Can be used to discuss about medical problem on online.

Can be used as a form of Medical magazine.

recently supermedico.com has been sold in xxxx.

i used the word Best as a prefix just to indicate that it is just like Best Doctor.

The way I see it, almost any end user will pay $499 if they want the name. If they don't want it, they won't pay $99.

Do you have the specifics on this? The name is owned by Huge Domains, and I can't see them paying that sort of premium for it. Without checking, I would guess they caught it when it expired.

Reason you are seeing a lot of asbestos lawyers ads recently is that asbestos poisoning is the new "whiplash". Although asbestos poisoning is provable (unlike whiplash) its costly. And there is rarely any (especially industrial) building build before 80s that does not contain asbestos, either as a material or as heat insulation.
