When to place backorder with NameJet?

First time poster here. I've searched the forum and done some reading but just want to confirm that this is correct.

There's a .com ENOM domain expiring on 23-Mar-2014 which I'd like to purchase.

So as long as the current owner doesn't renew, I need to wait until it shows up as a prelease on NameJet.

However, the NameJet FAQ doesn't specify when domains get prereleased. Will this just be when it enters the Redemption Grace Period? So 30 days after the expiration date?

And once it has shown up as a prerelease, is it best to wait until the end so as not to attract attention to it?

I am not sure if every enom name gets listed on nj but if it does wait till the last second

I try to do it last hour / last day not to expose myself as a bidder (this info is visible to the public). Unless of course, I do not care much about the name in question.

Yes we all try to wait to avoid pushing the price up to early...but there is always THAT someone!!!!!!!

As mentioned by other members, try to wait until the last few hours before placing a back order.
