When to backorder at NameJet.com

Hi,
I want a domain which is at present on NameJet Pre-Release.
It needs to be back-ordered by 8th of September.

Now if I backorder the domain, it may "attract" other people .
It's a short domain but not very important (no keywords).It may not even get a single bid and drop but then the domain age will be lost which is well above 3 years.
When should I backorder it so that I have the least competition?

Look at the cutoff date/time next to the domain, it's usually 8PM.
Check with other domains due to be released in the coming days, and see if the cutoff time is observed, and how strictly. Then it would be wise to place your bid a few minutes prior to closing time.
