When can I sell?

Hello Everybody
Totally new, inexperienced and I'm sorry if the question as been asked before but I have just bought a couple of domain names and am confused as to when I can sell, I've been told 45 days, 60 days, 5 days....so I did some reading and found all those numbers in days but am still unsure if I can sell or not. Please help

You can register a domain name and sell it the next day, supposing you had a buyer.

Where you are getting confused is transferring out of the registrar where it was purchased until 60 days have passed. However, you can get by this by either 1) creating a new account for the person and placing the domain name in there with what is called a push or 2) push the domain to their existing account.

Hi Domainerr & David, thanks for advice & welcome. Yes I think maybe that's where I'm getting confused with the transfer out of registrar timescales, starting to make a bit of sense now.

Great name Fandango. Love their movie listings and the easy movie ticket buys. Hate the customer service lol. As for your question it depends. I don't quite understand your question but if you're wanting to know long you would have to wait to sell after registering a domain it's instant. If you're referring to transferring to another registrar (example: NetworkSolutions.com >to> GoDaddy.com) it could take up to 7 days but most of the time it's within an hour or so. It all depends on how long the registrar responds to the request. I hope this helps.

Fandango movie listings? I will have to go have a look....I kind of picked it up from the song, thunder bolts and lightening very very frightening and stuff.
