Selling domain name; I am stuck

Hello,

I bought a domain name a couple of days ago and I contacted several companies. Now I have a deal with a company but how do I sell this domain name? This domain name is registered at a normal hosting provider and not registered with GoDaddy or something similar. I see an option to ask for an authentication code at my hosting provider. But some people say you have to wait 60 days before you can sell a domain. This domain name was old, got released and I registered again. So my question is if I have to wait 60 days and how you can sell it without intervention of GoDaddy, Flippa etc.

Thanks for helping me, last question, what about these 60 days? For example, my domain name was registered in 2012 and got expired, so I registered it in 2016. Do these 60 days start from 2012 or also 2016? Thanks!!

But it is possible to transfer a domain name within the same registrant within 60 days?

You can only push the domain to a different account maintained at the same registrar within 60 days of registration. No transfer possible during this period.
