The screen resolutions I use are: 240x320*, 320x240, 1024x768, 768x1024*, 1280x1024*, 1024,1280, 1600x1200, 1200x1600. (* are the ones I use most)

When I design for a PDA I design for 240x320 but take care to make sure the site takes advantage of landscape as well.

I design most sites for 1024x768, however I often allow for a reasonable sized favourites bar to be displayed in the browser as well. This comes out to be just a bit bigger than designing for 768x1024 (no favourites bar). Where feasible I will usually make part(s) of the page stretchable to accommodate widths of 768 to 1024.

I rarely design for 1280x1024. If I do, the right part of the screen is just a bar with some crap on it, internal links, etc. So many people never see it that it's not worth spending time on.

At work: 1280x1024 (two 20" monitors!) :D
At home: 1024x768

I always design with the average user in mind so, 800x600 as a base (I check the stats in all websites, and so far it's about the 80% of the user's resolution, sometimes more, some times less. I've noticed that gaming site's visitors use slightly better resolutions in average (I wonder why?) even higher in average than design oriented website's visitors!.

I use many machines, mainly 1280 or wider...

But I would generally design for 1024x768...

I use a screen resolution of 800x600, i usually find it sensible to create an expandible layout from 750+ (left to right).

1024x768 is definately the latest norm with almost every monitor sold this being the lowest resolution available. But yet many households still use 800x600 so it is usually best to also have layouts that work in this lower resolution.

Although the best method is to make fluid layouts that will work in any resolution by expanding and contracting, very effective method. I personally hate sites that design for 800*600 as I feel like they aren't really optimizing their site for all users. Fluid design is the way to go.

I'm on a 1024 x 768 res. and I design for all resolutions where possible.

1152 x 864 is nice though. 1280 x 1024 I only use when I'm doing really intense graphic design - which isn't very often ;)
