I did a quick search for this back to 2005 and didn't see an answer, so here goes.
Why are there so many domain names that end in "Bux" dropping?
Fake examples: BarfBux.com, SkullBux.com, GoGoBux.com, etc.
To add to the weirdness, they have somewhat nice rankings. Granted, trusting Alexa and the like for ranking has been pointed out to me as a mistake, but when a site is ranked under 50,000 on the list, I start to wonder...
It gets weirder. Sometimes people drop-catch them... sometimes people don't.
It seems almost like most domainers know to avoid the "bux" domain names, but every so often someone new buys them on backorder.
So enlighten me. What's up with "Bux"?
