What's The Secret To Selling On GoDaddy?

I think I must be missing something when it comes to selling domains on GoDaddy. I can't figure out how some of these domains that are offer listings are getting hundreds or in some cases thousands of views within days of them being listed.

Does anyone know if when these domains are re-listed does the view count and offer count continue or does it reset when the domain is relisted?

Alot of these domains are very odd, they have tons of views and lots of offers even when the minimum offer is a crazy amount like $10,000 + . I've even checked and they don't have traffic going to them, they have no PR... I just don't get it.

Here's some examples. (these are not mine)

thepokerswild.com
[$19,999 minimum offer]
[2300 views]
[5 offers]

freepokerceo.com
[$25,000 minimum offer]
[4 offers]

I personally don't see what makes these domains so valuable. There are other good poker domains on GoDaddy including 1 of mine that I listed as a featured listing that aren't getting this type of attention.

Is there some secret to getting your listing viewed?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Good domains sell. It's that simple. Also what matters is completed sales not asking prices. The majority of domainers ask too much for their domains and never sell...

the secret is the right domain. if all domains had low prices then they would have been all bought out by 2011. but you keep seeing dnjournal reports every week.

Fake views/offers? So they are listed on top when sorted based on views/offer...

I am positive there are a lot of domains that have fake views and offers... and it makes no sense to me why someone would list a domain for auction that isn't even registered.

But these domains are far away from being good.

one is not even registered > freepokerceo

I was seriously thinking about buying that one for $25k, but now that I can get it for just reg fee it doesn't seem all that special anymore.
