maybe you are confusing the portfolio Yun Ye sold for $164M to Marchex with the $580M ($650M according to some sources) that MySpace was sold to NewsCorp two years ago ... it kind of circulated the domain forums even though it was a developed site (and company) and not just a domain ...


by the way , NewsCorp was recently considering to sell MySpace to Yahoo for 25% of Yahoo shares ... Yahoo's current Market Cap is ~$37 BILLION ... so that would be ~$9 BILLION (even though the some sources state $12 BILLION)
