What's the best way to post ...

Hi all, What's the best way to post your domain name here so it DOES NOT get picked up by search engines ? (other than don't post it :lol: )

I have tried the following which don't seem to work -

thename(dot)com
thename_com

I have seen others post as -- t h e n a m e . c o m does this work as I thought that search engines would still read that ??

Any ideas ?

I use the space between each character method (d o m a i n . c o m). If you use your examples: thename(dot)com, or thename_com, the main part of the domain is still a complete string that forms words that can be read by SE's. When you put a space between each character though, each character appears to be a word on its own.

Spacing out DOES NOT trick Google, especially if it's a dictionary word or a combination of words. I deliberately tested this not too long ago.

Are you sure? The ones I tested did not show up in Google.
