What's it take to get an appraisal

Hi all,

I am new to NamePros. I own several domains and posted a couple in the appraisal forum. I didn't get even one appraisal. Is there some kind of buddy system here? I think my domain names are quite good, yet I get no response.

Hi, welcome to NamePros! Don't be discouraged -- it happens to everyone, including me. I'd say at least half of the domains I post for an appraisal never get a reply. You just have to be patient and realize that there aren't a whole lot of people who feel like they can give decent appraisals. The ones who can are often busy or just don't see your post right away. And, quite often, an appraiser won't comment if it isn't a domain that strikes a nerve with them. I give appraisals on occasion when a name jumps out at me. Run of the mill names often go unnoticed.

So if you don't get an appraisal right away, bump your thread once every 24 hours if you'd like, and eventually someone will take notice.

No Mpuglin, it happens to all of us.
I have only been here a couple of months but people are very friendly and extremely helpful.
So do not be afraid to ask any questions, one of the members are bound to know the answer.

I also might add that those who are known members and have been around alot longer have a better chance, this should not discourage you, but you must be paitent
