Just wondering what you personally would do, or are doing, with a big, diverse domains in your portfolio? (not receiving/focusing on parking revenue)

In short, made a HUGE database, really huge
1) Database of Keywords - more then 1 million
2) Database of Articles
3) Taken free RSS , XML and other Feeds from different channels
4) Taking hosting supporting Multi Domains / Sub domains and Aliases
5) Making a clean and smiple CMS system
6) CMS to be smartly searching for the relevant keywords wr.t. domain
7) ON basis of it, content to display relevant articles, feeds and meta tags

Integrating Google adsense accordingly.

It is working better then my aprked domains for a year!!

Exactly what I would be leaning towards, but what would you choose to do with the rest?

As mentioned develop the 10 best ones or so, put the rest on sedo.. Maybe pay for a front page listing as well for some of the better ones?

Sell or drop names that don't earn reg fee. Buy low (p/e) in the global fire sale (real estate, debt, equity, domains, etc.) or hoard cash.

I would go through that list one by one - and pick the ones that A) you aren't interested in personally developing EVER, but B) believe have legitimate value to an end-user. Once you have determined that - look at all of the names you won't develop and determine which ones you are willing to sell low just to get some money back....list those on the forums like Namepro. Sell as many as you can, let the rest drop as their expiration dates come up.

The ones you feel are more valuable - hold. This is assuming you can afford the renewal fees for however many years that may take.

I personally would sell off all the rest that i wont be able to pay attention to myself ...... as u r not interested in parking ..... then u should probably have all ur domains appraised by posting in a single thread .... so we all can give our insights and help u decide the best domains u should develop and which u should sell off.......

Sell as many as I can to end users at $200 - $400 a go where possible.

Use the funds to pay for the registrations of the more valuable remaining names.

Exactly what I would have said, other than perhaps keep the very best names, maybe 5-6 if you plan on building sites.

I, and the majority of Namepros, seem to be cutting down our portfolios. I would recommend submittin all 300 to BuyDomains and seeing the offers they give you. Sell off ~250 of the higher offers and spend the money on developing the remaining 50 for Adsense revenue. Use the profit you consequently make from that to register new domains and develop immediately. Then, add content to your existing sites and you will soon have a network bringing in a significant amount of $s!
