hey

last night I was looking for a domain name and godaddy search resulted that I found this generic domain name wich is worth $600 and I can register that right now , this message was colorful with one shinning star making things more serious lol, but after a while when I logged in and search the domain again then everything was normal with normal price of doamin..

my main question is ? is that domain worth buying based on the google search results .......... google search results return 102,000,000 ....

Thank you

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

I'm not totally sure what you're saying, but it could be that it was the "premium domains" section that some registrars have introduced. This means that you would effectively be buying the domain from a domain reseller, rather than from GoDaddy itself, thus the inflated price.

not really because this domain name is still available to register .... actually it has horrible amount of search records with generic two keywords....... and thats the reason godaddy put that $600 automated message ...

thank you for reply

edit : I took screenshot also and I will post later if I register it or if I dont want to register lol

Very much looking forward to finding out what this domain is (eventually).

Assuming it's a .com domain, surely it's worth the investment of a few dollars regardless?

is it one word or more than one word name?

It depends on what the search term is. If it could be turned into a business easily or would get type-in traffic it might be worth the money. I'm really not sure where you are getting that $600 figure though. it sounds to me like that is a secondary market listing you were seeing.
