Okay. So I did some outbound. An end user replied, saying he is interested. Then he demanded for more information and the price.

It's a state + service domain. What information do I need to give him in order to keep him interested?

Your price offer plus I expect that he wants to know how you propose to finalize the transaction...

Really? I thought he probably wants to know more about what the domain can do for him.

    Here's his reply:

    "Hi,

I am interested. Could you give more information and the cost."

    Now, what do you think?

Asked and answered. If you have better ideas, by all means, answer him whatever your heart desires :xf.smile:

He might be wondering if the domain had/has an active website, or if it gets any traffic.

Did your opening email tell him to ask if he wanted more info? If not, you could ask him to specify, but if so then he probably assumes you already had something in mind.

I would avoid offering more info in an opening email to avoid situations like this.

I am not sure I have much more to add to this thread as the above comments are valid for a response to the interested.
I would suggest giving out the basics as well - Registrar - Registration Age - Traffic - Active Website or Parked - and then supply pricing and how you wish to proceed with the sell whether through escrow or through a marketplace. When quoting a price, kind in mind any commission you might have to pay when using a marketplace or escrow.

Epik.com is a great Registrar to work with. We offer a marketplace where you can list domains for sale, lease, or even financing. We also offer escrow, see that form here: https://escrow.epik.com/

Would be happy to discuss further with you, if you like. You can email me directly at [email protected] or here through NP!
