What To Do With Unused Domains?

I have several unused domains I need to do something with until I either develop, sell or drop them. I have a shared hosting plan, so I'm thinking of putting them there and putting Google Ads for Domains on them.

Or should I park them somewhere?

Or is there something else I can do with them?

Where do I have the best shot at making money?

Thanks for your thoughts

You can't put adsense on sites without content, so if you did that (put content on them) you would actually be using them...lol

You could use adsense for domains until you actually want to go to full blown development which is different to adsense for publishers, or you could park them with companies like Bodis and Voodoo . Neither require you to have any hosting plan, just a simple change of nameservers.

As for making money, nothing is a sure thing unless you are willing to bust your ass in most cases.

Yes, Adsense for Domains is what I meant.
I guess what I'm wondering is it better to just host them myself with Adsense for Domains than it is to park them? It's the same thing, right? But if I host them myself I keep all the money, right?
Thanks

Adsense for Domains is just a parking service with google

Adsense for publishers is for websites with content.

The former is just like parking where you simply change nameservers. The latter requires you to put some effort in and add content and use your own hosting.

In neither do you keep everything that is earned by a click. Google takes its share in both cases. The only difference is that with adsense for publishers (or adsense for domains), you don't have revenue a revenue share with a parking company as well.

Got it?? :)

These are some ideas that you can use right now to take advantage of your unused domain name:
1. Park your domain name. You can try to park your domain with sedo.com and you can start earning revenue instantly.
2. Park it yourself. You can try to just put link text ads so that you can earn out of it.
3. Setting up a simple storefront. Make it an online store. You can download or add some products for marketing.
4. Sell your domain. You can sell your domain in domain name aftermarket.
5. Contact buyers. You can contact potential buyers for your domain. You can sell it directly to those who are interested in such domain of yours.

Ok, now I get it. I was thinking of Adsense For Domains as if I had to put up a basic page and then feed adsense into it, like I do for my content site with individual adsense ads. Now I see it's just like parking the domains I already have with Sedo, maybe a bit more profitable.

Cool. Thanks for straightening me out.

Where do I have the best shot at making money?
You can make money in any of the above mentioned revenue sources.

But the question is, can you make "enough" money to reach the cash out threshold requirements?

If you don't develop your domains, and you have poor quality domains in terms of keyword search matching, it might even take you 5 years (or more) to cash out just 100 dollars. Subtract the 5-year cost of renewing those domains, and your potential income is even less.

If your domains don't get any organic traffic it won't matter where you park them.

develope it and put adsense code over there.
or you can sell them and get cash money

The least effort would be to park them at Bodis. Then you can see if they have any traffic. If no traffic it doesn't matter what you do with them :)
