What to do with a few domains?

I've got a few pretty good domains that I would like to do something with. Because there is some decent type-in traffic on a few I was hoping to take advantage of Adsence or some others like domainsponsor.com. Unfortunately is looks like only those with large portfolio's can only take advantage of the PPC for revenue. Is there any other services out there that will allow me to load ads on my sites without having 2,000 unique visitor per month (domainsponsor), or 750,000 page views/mo (Google). Any other suggestions on what to do with my domains to make some money other than selling or site dev?

Park them at a place like Sedo.

Taylor, how does the SEDO system work? Do they pay you to have it parked?

Just like any parking service, Sedo pays you for every time somebody clicks on a link on the parked page. You can get rolling in 5 minutes. Once you're signed up all you need to do is tell them which domains you want to park, and change the nameservers.

Besides Sedo, there's also Afternic, GoldKey, etc.

The other thing you can do with your domain is simply to forward the URL to another website that pays you commissions for any sales you generate.
A visitor that arrives at your site is re-directed to the merchant site. And if he/she makes a purchase, you get the credit through the merchant's affiliate program.

It is even possible with 'masked redirects' to have your own domain name show in the address bar even though your visitor is viewing another website. Check with your registrar. All you do is change one line in your domain record

The key is to match your domain with an appropriate merchant. If your domain is AuctionCars.com for instance, you wouldn't redirect it to a website selling jeans. For example, see how I redirect the domain pods.ws. It isn't my website but my domain shows in thee title as well address bar.

There are plenty of merchant directories for you to choose from: the popular ones are Clickbank, CJ, shareasale, etc. Even Amazon allows such redirects, I think. If you're not satisfied, it takes about a minute or so to change the look of your 'website'. :)

It reallyu comes down to what you are planning to do with the names. Is your plan sell them or keep them.

If you truly just want to turn them around I would recommed listing and Parking at Sedo or Afernic.

If you "maybe plan to sell someday" I'd park them at NameDrive or GoldKey.

And if you really just want keep them then park them first anyway while you work on a minisite with appropriate affiliate sponsors and content.

Good luck

750,000 page views/mo (Google).

Google only requires that if you want to setup something like Sedo Park pages

Just displaying some adsense Adblocks can be done by anyone
even having only a few page views a day

you still have the clicks, just the income is lower for the adsense mini sites.

If you have the possibility to host minisites for your domains, that will do much better than any parking program.

To get approved by google, all you need is a site that looks decent. Doesn't matter how many visitors etc. Try first submit a real site to get approved, then you can put the ad on mini-sites. Not a good idea to try submit an ads-only site for approval.
