On their Efty store?

I can't add some of my domains to my Efty portfolio, and I presume this is because the previous owner hasn't removed them.

When this happens on undeveloped.com I can just click the little speech bubble and request that they are added to my portfolio manually.

But what do you do when this happens on Efty?

Had a simlar issue after selling a name to another NP member who uses Efty. Pushed the domain to their account and marked it in my Efty portfolio as sold. The issue was that even though they were able to add it to their Efty account it still pointed to my portfolio page. I believe this had to do with the name servers in that they were never changed during the push and basically got stuck pointing to my page.

I then tried deleting it completely from my Efty account to see if that changed anything, which it didn't. In then end they had to open an Efty service ticket to get it resolved. Now anytime I sell a domain I change the name servers back to their default before pushing the name to another account. Not sure if this makes much of a difference, but I think it would have in this scenario.

To directly answer your question, I would suggest just opening an Efty service ticket to get it resolved.

Thanks,

Unfortunately, as you suggested, this will NOT make any difference. The issue is that EFTY still believes the domain name belongs to YOUR account. So when your buyer adds the name to their EFTY account, the name will have a status "Review" instead of "Portfolio" -- this means that Efty will research current WHOIS information to determine if your buyer should be able to add the name to their account (removing it from yours).

@Doron Vermaat has a post about this. Look for his post on page 7 of ===> this thread

Hi everyone. To prevent hijacking of other's For-Sale landing pages we have a review system in place for newly added domains that are also listed in another user account. So whenever you add a domain name to your account that is already listed in another Efty user his account it is placed under review. You can check this by looking at the Status of your domain name in your Efty account. Instead of Portfolio it will say "Under review"

Our system then performs a Whois lookup to try and verify the most recent owner of the domain name and once done the domain name will show the correct For-Sale landing pages. This usually gets done within a very short time but sometimes we are unable to verify ownership right away because the Whois is not yet showing you as the owner of the domain just yet.

If you find that a newly added domain name is Under review in your account you can always email [email protected] with proof of ownership to speed up the verification process.
