I have a name sold at tdnam and got the money already. However I still have the name registered with me. So who owns this name? The name is coming for a renew soon, should I pay to renew it or not? Why do I still have it if I already got the money? This is strange!

It took a long time for me to get my money. I finally did, but the guy that owns it for whatever reason hasn't given me his registration info, so I can do the transfer.

My name that I sold is up for renewal Nov 9th 06 though, so I have a little more time. I'm not going to renew it if he doesn't get in contact with me.

It takes a considerably long time to get your money. I recommend not wasting time with tdnam ever again (i'm not going to)

The buyer would have to renew it. Your sale is completed.

You're supposed to email the buyer and push the name if you haven't done so already.

I emailed many time, but never received any replies.

Still it is kind of waste to let the domain expire. Can I offer this domain to
someone else with the condition that the title may not clean?

Contact TDNAM. They would do ti for you ( I suppose it reg'd at godaddy).
I was sold some names there and TDNAM did everything for me, I didn't push the name myself.

no, the name is not at tdnam, it is at NP.

so the question is: if this name expires, can tdnam take the money back from me?

Renew the name. If the buyer never claims the name than the default owner would be you. Don't let GoDaddy profit by selling it to somebody else through the aftermarket.

GoDaddy wont take the money back from you. They gave the buyer a long enough period to make a claim that they weren't getting the domain. In this instance GoDaddy acted as an escrow provider and have forfilled their duty. The fact that the buyer has not done anything to get the name is the buyers responsibility. Some customers just expect a name to end up in their Godaddy account and others don't pay much attention to their emails. I would give the buyer the benefit of the doubt and give them a 12 month period from the date of purchase and demand that they recoup the renewal fees when they do contact (or not if you got a very generous sale price) but there has to be some point where you move on and treat the domain as your own as the buyer's action inconvenience your situation.

If the buyer never contacts you and you don't feel comfortable about the fact that you receive money for nothing than give it to charity.

I'd keep trying with emails. Good luck.

Sorry I misunderstanding. I agreed with VURG keep contact buyer. Sometimes, the buyer may don't even noticed that he/her won or win too many names!
