What to develop? A neat idea to find out

Not to long ago, I was in a noted.com Namejet auction and did not win. Out of curiosity, I went to the site today and instead of a parked page, a little poll shows up.

What did you expect to find here?
Music / Lyrics
A News Portal
A Micro Blogging Site
A Site To Leave Short Notes
Spark Notes / Study Guides / Cliff Notes
Stationary Store (Noted Pads, Etc.)
None Of The Above


I think this would be a great idea if you plan on developing a site that receives a small bit of traffic and no revenue, but do not know what people are looking for.

I think such a poll would work well for domains that receive random type-in traffic (Noted.com being an example). If we're talking a non-premium expired domain, the answer to that poll question is obviously "whatever genre of site was hosted here previously", as can be gathered via either archive.org or DomainTools thumbnails.
