My prediction is "pretty broad / general" and applies for today as well:

1. One-word .and good two-word .com names and acronyms.
2. Short and good .org words or acronyms.
3. Great keyword + extension new gTLDs (with reasonable renewal fees).
4. Some numerals. Mostly .com, but maybe also .cc and .net.
5. Great one-word ccTLDs with extensions such as .in, .io, .de etc.

More specifically, I think that tech, media and finance domains will continue to sell.

brandable and have search volume! and the term are recognize in their industry! usually you can get that kind of domain with cheap, and if you lucky you can sell and make nice profit!
