What TLD?

This could be an interesting poll i think, We have so many extensions to choose from to purchase, But how many of these extensions do you type in,,,,in any givin day??? My usual surfing consist of Dot Com only, An occasional Dot Net, Dot US and .co.uk .... But almost completely Dot Coms, How about you??

I left out .IN and CO.IN accidently, You can vote for multiple extensions

I never! type in an extension unless I know what website I am looking for. There is no advantage to do this when using a search engine. Using the extension by-passes the search engine! However.......I do expect a commercial website to have either .com/.org/.net/.ccTLD because a website should be well-dressed! :lala:

its always a .com site for me but i do have the odd .info or .net but thats it. If your counting google i always use the .ca extention thoguh when i go there lol.

you forgot .de, .it and also .pk booming behind India`s boom.

But you included .sc and .tv ???? That makes little sense.

.tv for me, every day. enom.tv, channelme.tv, plus a host of other sites just to see if they are developed or if I can gain an idea or two from domains similar to ones that I own.

.com quite a bit, mostly because of namepros and some other resource sites.

As a domainer, I'm trying to purchase name in order of .com >> .net >> .co.uk.
But as an internet user, I don't care about ext.. as long as it's easy to remember!

I think that is becoming typical, as surfers become used to the idea of multiple extensions. Two different business models, really, one based strictly on type ins support .com and to a smaller degree .net or .org, while others choose to persue seo traffic via mini sites or fully developed enduser sites.
