.tv What The ??? - No more .tv in GoDaddy Bulk Register???

I swear I saw .tv in there yesterday!
If not, then definitely the day before.

So, The GoDaddy Bulk Register got rid of .tv, huh???

Yet they still have...

.com* .net*
.me .info*
.org* .mobi*
.biz* .us
.ca .asia*
.ws .in

Come On!!!

Where else can I bulk check, that STILL INCLUDES .TV???

Well I am starting to move mine out from them - I just cannot stand their control panel anymore. Never seems to load for me - takes hours just to be able to change the DNS of a domain. I just can't stand them.

The problem with GoDaddy bulk checking seems to be part of one hell of an argument after Bob Parsons tried to take more of a leading role in .TV

Once the argument blows over, who knows, he may see economic sense, but in the meantime - TV means TUVALU to Bob.

In the meantime, you could use Namecheap for bulk checking. You have to be logged in though but they do have a good TV price at 17.99. (and no, I don't have anything to do with them)

Without having to open an account you can try HeartInternet.co.uk (slow) or Mydomain.com or Dotster.com (300 at a time).

There are plenty others who want your business.



Hopefully this tiff will be resolved and GoDaddy can get on with promoting .Tv like they used to (indeed, in many ways they were better than almost anyone else in getting the .TV message across).

Bob may come across as the crass Vaudeville comedian at times (like now), and he is very good at throwing his toys when not happy. But he is a very smart worker and promoter and, like it or not, has to be given credit for what he's done in the past for .TV.

Many people here have .TV names that are registered many years in advance because of his $15.99 (as many years as you want) deal of a few months ago.

Come back Bob - .TV needs you.

Never had a problem with them........Really easy to use interface and pushing domains is a breeze!
If you have 50 or more domains with them you get a discount on most purchases. You have to email them for the special discount code but once you have been accepted you can use it anytime.
The downside is that it does not presently apply to .tv's but they do have a $17.99 promo running at the moment.

Namecheap still one of the reliable registrar out there. They used to be Enom Technology Partner (ETP) reseller just like NeedName.com and normally post here. But I don't see them quite often just like before.

FYI - .TV social networking service is only available to Enom Technology Partner. Everything else should be ok.
