Hey Everyone,

I posted in here on the 23rd when my server got hacked. Well everything was sorted out or so i thought but for the past couple of days my main server account (with most of my websites on!) and another account (with a couple websites on!) have been loading extremely slowly but i also host my friends website, along with my brothers blog and they run quickly.

Try these:

http://www.myrawr.com
http://www.fun4free.co.uk

They used to load quite quickly and now it takes so long i can't bare waiting, my traffic and earnings have dropped because of it and it's so frustrating because im no good with the server side of things so i don't know what to do. I can't find anything that could be the cause of this.

Try these:

http://www.myspace4yourpage.com (friends website i host)
http://www.paulrogers.info (brothers blog i host)

They both load instantly for me, they're having no problems at all.

Does anybody have any idea of what could be the problem, why this is happening? I've tried rebooting the server a few times but that doesn't help. Oh and also, since i got hacked WHM won't let me create new accounts anymore so i dunno what else the nice hacker has done.

Marty.

I'm no server expert thats for sure... did you go through the files on these 2 sites via ftp or whatever, perhaps the hacker left a file or 2 which is running/loading in the bg of these sites.

Hopefuly a server pro can shed so more light on the possible problem.

Need to check the files on your site and let someone take a look at the server who knows what they are doing. There are some server management companies that can perhaps help you. Take a look at the logs to see if you can trace what the hacker did.

If you don't know what to do you'd be better to contact the management companies to help you in this situation.

As mentioned by CrazyTech you should have an expert look into it for you, the hacker has likely done more damage then you are aware of. Also very possible the hacker installed a rootkit for future access. I would say better to be safe than sorry. http://rack911.com is widely used, and are very knowledgeable in these types of situations. Lots of luck. :)
