If I use NameJet or SnapNames to catch dropping names, what registrars do they put these domains in after they are successfully caught? Do I need to register at these registrars? How do I link the registrar accounts?
Thanks

NameJet - eNom
SnapNames - networksolutions

They will create an account for you.

Not the case, both have multiple registrars. Your name(s) will be at the registrar who caught the domain.

SnapNames main Registrar is Network Solutions (NetSol), but when a name is picked up from the drop it will be registered at one of their many registrars (close to 300 of them). They use these registrars for Drop catching. A little of the time these domains can be caught by a partner Registrar.

If you are buying a domain that is, NOT being dropped, for sale from an individual or Snapnames the domain registrar will most likely be NetSol, but if the domain is for sale from another partner registrar then it will be at their Registrar. (Just depends)

Here is the current list of accredited Registrars (https://www.icann.org/registrar-reports/accredited-list.html). If you are redirected to NetSol then it's a SnapNames Registrar. Here is another list that shows the redirected URL, Customer service email and number (https://www.icann.org/registrar-reports/accreditation-qualified-list.html). If you put this in a spreadsheet, all of them that are being redirected to 'http://www.networksolutions.com' is a SnapNames Registrar.

Also, you do not need to register at those Registrars. An account will be created for you and you'll be sent an email with the registration info.
